AI basics
AI in WireMagic drafts and revises wireframes as native, editable controls on your canvas. This page covers what it can do, which plans include it, and how credits work.
What AI can do
- First drafts. Describe a screen in plain language and a structured draft lands on the current page as real controls — never a flattened image.
- Targeted revisions. Select controls and ask for a change; AI edits the selected area without disturbing the rest of the page.
- Conversation. Keep refining in the same thread — AI remembers the context of your project while you iterate.
Every AI change is an ordinary edit: it lands in your undo history, and you can cancel a run at any time. In this release AI works within the page you have open — create a new page yourself and continue the conversation there.
Which plans include AI
Built-in AI drafting comes with Plus and Pro. Classic owners can add it with an AI & Cloud add-on, and Free Basic does not include AI credits — the editor itself works fully without AI. See pricing for the current comparison. Using AI requires signing in and being online; everything else in WireMagic works offline.
How credits work
- Plus and Pro include a monthly allowance of AI credits that resets every month and does not roll over.
- Each AI run uses credits in proportion to the work involved — a small revision costs less than a full first draft. If a run fails, reserved credits are returned.
- Your remaining balance is always visible in the AI panel and under Account, and updates after each run.
Running out of credits never blocks your work: editing, saving, and exporting continue as normal, and your balance refreshes with the next monthly reset.
