Plans & View-Only

The rule behind every WireMagic plan: your local files are yours. Paid plans add capabilities; losing one never takes your work away.

The four plans

Free Basic is free forever. Classic is a one-time license for local professional wireframing. Plus and Pro are subscriptions that add AI credits and larger sharing quotas — Classic owners can add AI & Cloud without re-buying the editor. Current prices and the full comparison live on the pricing page.

What Free Basic includes

  • A real local editor — not a viewer. Create, edit, and save native .wiremagic projects with the full control library.
  • Unlimited projects, with up to 3 pages per project.
  • Read-only preview of Balsamiq BMPR files.
  • Watermarked PNG / PDF export.
  • A small number of active Share Preview Links.

If your subscription ends

Nothing dramatic happens. Your account simply falls back to Free Basic rules:

  • Local files stay on your device and stay editable — including projects with more than 3 pages, whose existing pages remain fully editable. You just can't add pages beyond the Free cap.
  • Paid capabilities pause: BMPR conversion, watermark-free export, AI, and the higher sharing quotas wait until a plan is active again.
  • Classic is a one-time purchase — it doesn't expire.

What View-Only actually is

View-Only is not what happens when you stop paying. It is a narrow safety state for rare, unresolved account situations, where WireMagic errs on the side of caution until things are cleared up. Even then, files remain readable and openable; editing resumes once account access is restored.

Offline and devices

  • Local editing and viewing work offline. AI and Share publishing need a connection.
  • Paid plans include a small number of device slots for professional use; you can see and release devices from your Account page. Signing out of a device never deletes local files and never cancels billing.
