Share Preview Links
A Share Preview Link publishes a static snapshot for review. The editable project never leaves your machine — what you share is a picture, on purpose.
What a link contains
- Static images of the pages you chose, plus the link title, page names, and an optional "Shared by" byline.
- Not included: the editable project, canvas data, resources, comments, or AI history.
- Snapshots are immutable. If the project changes, publish a new link — existing links keep showing what you approved at publish time.
When publishing you choose the scope: the entire project or the current page only. The dialog shows exactly how many pages will be included before anything uploads.
Lifetime and limits
Every plan includes a number of active links with a default expiry period — higher plans allow more links for longer. Free links carry a visible watermark and attribution; paid links use light attribution instead. Current quotas per plan are on the pricing page.
Password protection
- On paid plans, a link can require a strong password or a quick 4-character code before anything is shown — until verified, a protected link reveals nothing, not even its title.
- Copy the password when you set it: WireMagic never stores or shows it again.
- Protection is a courtesy lock, not DRM — anyone you give the link and password to can still forward them or capture the screen.
Managing links
- Settings > Sharing lists every active link with its pages, days left, protection, and a coarse view count.
- Revoking a link stops it immediately and cannot be undone. Expired links stop on their own.
- Preview pages are marked so search engines do not index them.
Good to know
- Publishing requires being signed in and online; viewers need neither an account nor the app.
- A read-only BMPR preview can't be published — convert it to an editable project first.
